The Municipality of Paleokastritson, located in western Corfu, has some of the most unique and picturesque views in all of Greece. Unlike the rest of Corfu, this municipality’s geography is abundant in diversity, all within itself. From sandy beaches, to jagged cliffs, from ancient monasteries, to deep caves, this area has a distinction all of its own.

Be sure to bring your walking shoes if you want to enjoy the fantastic views from the main resort, Paleokastritsa. The fort of Angelokastro on the highest point in Paleokastritsa is a steep walk from the parking lot, but the view is definitely worth the extra effort. Reward yourself with a refreshing beverage when you reach the peak, and take it all in!
