Thinalion - Acharavi Corfu (Korfu)

The Municipality of Thinalion offers some of the most popular resorts in all of Corfu, most notable being the resort of Acharavi, one of the biggest, and most established resorts on the entire island, located in the centre of northern Corfu. In fact, with all of its amenities, including financial institution, doctors, lawyers, dentists, stores, supermarkets, etc., Acharavi is visited by several locals, who wish to go about their daily business. For the tourist, Acharavi has the benefit of being home to a 3 kilometre golden sandy beach, which is both clean and safe. In addition, the endless restaurants, bars, and clubs for those who wish to experience the exciting nightlife that belongs to Acharavi.

Not far from Acharavi is the Hydopolis water park, which is an excellent place to spend time with children, as they will surely enjoy it. Though catering to young children, Hydropolis offers activities for both young and old. Some of the more popular sports activities for adults are tennis, beach volley ball, basketball, and scuba diving lessons.

Just west of Acharavi is the resort town of Roda. As Roda is not nearly as large as Acharavi, it tends to cater to the traveller who is looking to spend some quiet time on the beach with their family, away from the excitement that a large resort has to offer.
