Municipality of Faiakon - Ipsos Corfu

The Municipality of Faiakon is situated on the east coast, just north of the municipality of Kerkireon (home of Corfu town). Here, the vacationer will find the lively resorts of Ipsos, Dassia, and Barbati. All resorts enjoy fantastic views of Albania.

For the most part, these resorts cater mostly to British tourists, as can be seen by the many English style pubs that surround the area. There are however, several traditional Greek villages in the area, where one can sample the culture, and tastes, of traditional Corfu. The most notable villages in the area are Ano Korakiana, Kato Korakiana, Sokraki, Zigos, and Sigourades.
